Thomas Ehrt is leaving the company 

An era comes to an end. After 25 years as Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Ehrt leaves the family business – and hands the company over to Rittal GmbH & Co. KG, which is part of the Friedhelm Loh Group.  

After the unexpected death of his father Thomas Ehrt took over the company in order to continue his father’s life work. Since 1995, he has been actively involved with the company and each individual employee. He was convinced: “Accuracy and stability lead to long life cycles and the well-known reliability of EHRT machines.” Under his leadership, the company grew to become the leading manufacturer for punching and bending machines. So it is with a smile and a heavy heart that Thomas Ehrt is leaving the company in November 2022.   

The entire EHRT team is incredibly grateful for the valuable time, friendly manner and lessons that Thomas Ehrt has brought to the company. Fortunately, we know that we are not saying “goodbye” but “see you soon” and look forward to continuing to meet Thomas Ehrt at company events.
